The Wilson Expanding
Scraper complements the Wilson Expanding Brush, and it is recommended
for removing soft, wet, or gummy deposits, such as mud or marine
growth. The Wilson Expanding Scraper cleans tubes from 5/8-inch
to 6 1/2-inch (15.9 to 165.1mm) Outer Diameter. The blades in the Wilson
Expanding Scraper do not fill with debris as they do when
cleaning soft and gummy deposits with a brush, and they are easily
and quickly replaced as they wear. As the scraper head spins, the scraper blades lift up and scrape away deposits in the tube. The blades rise to conform to changes in the inside of the diameter of the tube, providing a very effective cleaning action throughout the length of the tube. The Wilson Expanding Scraper can be used with any Wilson Electric, Pneumatic, or Air-Driven Tube Cleaning System, and with a flexible holder it can be used to clean curved tubes, such as those found in water tube boilers. |
